Our first BOD meeting for the Rotary Year 2014-15 has been scheduled at 6.30 pm on Friday 25th July 2014 at Samrat Restaurant,

Churchgate this is the first BOD meeting and I request that we have full attendance in order to take forward a high beta WOW Year.

The agenda is as under.

  Agenda

1. President to call the meeting to order.

2. to record attendants & apology.

3. To confirm the Minutes of the last joint Board Meeting

    Held on 18th June 2014 & discuss matter arising out of

    Meeting, if any

4. To record the implementation of the following Projects.

             A.        1st July - Annapurna Day

Rotary India has embarked on a mission to eliminate hunger. The first ‘Annapurna Day’ in the history of Rotary. Donating uniforms and meals to 350 children (Courtesy: our Club Members).

Venue: The Observation Home, Umerkhadi, Old Jail Road, Mumbai 400009.

             b.        6thJuly – Serving the Under Privileged

We have served 200 meals at ‘The Society for Protection of Children in Western India’

Venue: BJ Home, Matunga near Madras Café 

              RS. 5000/- For Lunch

              RS. 5000/- For Education

            C.       Wada School Distribution of Notebooks, Stationeries ETC By Sah Charitable Trust.

            d.       ISKCON Mid-Day Meal Program

Value of Project Rs. 4, 50,000/- For 500 Children’s Midday Meals

Our Club is sponsored 500 Children’s @ Rs. 900/- Per Child per Year.

             E.       2nd July 2014 Donation of Hearing Aid to son of Colaba Municipal School Helper                        Cost Rs. 8000/

              f.       Members supported Rotary umbrellas of RS. 250 each

              g.      Co-sponsoring self-defense workshop towards women empowerment At KC College on   28th   July 2014.

 5. Installation held on 16th July sponsored by Motilal Oswal &

     Club President Mahendra Sundesha

     Attendance: 50 members, total 168.

6. To record the application of Donation given by GC Virendra Sanghvi

    For 25 Jaipur Foot

7. Donation received by Mukesh V Jariwala ?20000 for SPRJ Kanyashala Trust

 Ghatkopar

8. To co-sponsor work-shop to teach women self Defense

To be held at K. C. College on 28th July.

9. To consider membership proposal applications.

11. Vote of Thanks

IPP RTN RAJUL PARIKH

1.      Sanskar Training program for Interact Club of St Anthony’s. We will not be co-hosting; instead the Interactors will participate at their own cost at Rs. 100/- per head.

2.      Our Rotaract Club of Khalsa college will have their Installation on Saturday 9th August 2014. They have requested us to bear a small part of the expenses of their Installation. I have agreed to Rs. 5000 from the Club. Please take this approval from the board.

3.      We have received Rs. 76,000 from 36 members towards the shortfall. Cash payments to Samrat and part of Charter night expenses have been utilized from this collection.

4.      The charter night expenses of a total of Rs. 1,45,000 has been jointed hosted by our Club and our Company Alfaa UV, who sponsored an amount of 64,000 towards the same.

5.      I checked my records and I have sponsored 10 girls last year for kanyashala project. So this year again, I commit Rs. 50000 towards this project.
